We’re happy to welcome Long Yang, Gabriela-Cosmina Gherghe and Olivier Duineveld as speakers in this November alumni event.

He is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Freiburg where he is completing his first monograph on Mao's cadres before and during the Socialist Education Movement (1962-1966). His second project is about the politics of information and misinformation in the early years of the People's Republic of China. Long graduated from the programme in 2018.
Gabriela-Cosmina Gherghe is currently a Service Delivery Assistant at the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in Belgium. In her role, she supports key business and portfolio activities within the NATO Digital Workplace Center (NDWC). Her work focuses on coordinating and implementing risk management strategies, conducting periodic business and performance reviews, facilitating organizational-level agreements, and enhancing service operations reporting and quality management. Prior to joining NATO, Cosmina was a Blue Book Trainee and later a Management Assistant at the European Commission’s Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI). Cosmina graduated from the program in 2021.
